I love this picture of my grand daughter Josslyn wearing her shades and her dads hat. She is such a little Diva! My son is going to have a hard time fighting the boys off at the door when she grows up...when I mentioned that to him, his reply was, "I really don't want to even talk about that!" LOL
Here are some close ups
I cut her name on the Cricut with SCAL using Irezumi font. I put a thick coat of acrylic paint and once dried, roughed it up and added some distress inks.
Aren't these flowers gorgeous? They are a mixture of different manufactures.
My scrappy friend Vicki has done this inking and misting technique with butterflies and I loved the look so I thought I would give it a try. However, I think hers looks much better than mine.
I used a portion of Dusty Attics chipboard, painted it with white acrylic and then coated it with Distress Clear Rock Candy. Once dried, I dabbed on some Broken China distress ink and added some bling.
I randomly stamped images using ColorBox Liquid Chalk in Chestnut Roan.
The photo matting is made up of a paper doily that I picked up from the dollar store in the little wedding section. I stained it using Distress Stain in brushed corduroy. (you can get these at The Funkie Junkie) I tore a piece of cardstock and stained the edges as well, then added some bling.
Thanks for stopping by!
