Pumpkin Patch

We went to the Love Creek Orchards Great Hill Country Pumpking Patch recently, it was alot of fun. They had alot of activities for the kids, such as, pony rides, pumpkin painting, petting zoo, hay rides, and all sorts of other things.
I did a scrap page layout of a few photos I took of Dax there.

Dax painted a pumpkin, it was his first time ever painting. He did a great job! I was told he was the next Picasso. He really enjoyed it and was very upset when I took the paint brush away from him.

Scooby Doo...Where are you?

Dax is going to be Scooby Doo for Halloween. I got his costume and tried it on him. It is so darn cute, I just had to share it with you.

I just love this close up!

He was looking down at the tag,
so it looks as if his head is completely covered.
When I showed him this picture, he said "look
the puppy has my cup" I laughed so hard!

Swapping

I love to swap craft items. It is so neat to see what others are making. I thought I would share a few of my items with you.

Batty Moon is for a Halloween Swap...of course...lol

It is also available for sell at http://scrappyartcrafters.cuttersmarket.com/

Don't have a personal cutting machine, but would like the paper piecing? No worries, just let me know, I will cut it and mail it to you for the cost of the file, plus, .42 cents for postage.

Stocking

Merry Christmas Swap

Isn't it just the cutest? I love the lil bear.

Christmas Card Swap

I got this idea from an altered chalk board I had seen and thought why not incorporate it into a Christmas card.
The pocket holds the numbers to use for the count down of the days before Christmas. There are lil pieces of magnets that hold them in place.

If you would like to join in on swapping, go to http://Scrapbooking_Queenz-subscribe@yahoogroups.com
Tell them Theresa refered you. We would love to have you in the group!

SO BAD!

I am so bad about keeping up with the blogging world! My last post was in September. Where has the time gone?
I have been working on a few swaps that I am involved in. Some have asked, "how do you do all that fine detail with very little vision?" The answer is, I have an easier time focusing on the smaller items. It takes me longer to finish a project, but it is so rewarding at the end. I am determined not to let my handicap get in the way of my love for crafting. Pin It
