Paper Ornament

I designed this ornament in Inkscape to cut on my Cricut. It was a VERY long process, as I worked off and on all day on creating a ornament, only to lose every thing. I was not smart enough to save my work as I went along, and Inkscape froze up. Now, I would think I would have been smart enough to save it, as this has happened to me several times. This ornament is different than the one I lost, I had alot of intricate designs in it. However, I am very happy with the way this one turned out. I heat embossed the whole thing in red and gold. The snow flake is from one of MS's punches.

This was inspired by this weeks challenge over at The Paper Variety, which is to use an ornament of some form. The design team created some awesome projects that are full of inspiration, be sure to head over and check them out. And speaking of design team, they are also having a design team call. Get the details HERE.

Thanks for stopping by!
