A Song

I used this months sketch from Scrappin-N-Chattin for this weeks DT challenge over at The Cuttlebug Spot which is to incorporate a song in your project.  I recently had a new granddaughter and received pictures of her daddy holding her, so I chose the song "Daddy's Little Girl" sung by Michael Buble, which is a beautiful song.

I used the DeLovely papers by Cosmo Cricket, made some lollipop flowers, and cut the title from Cricuts Ashlyn's Alphabet cartridge. I wanted an embosed border around my whole page, but as we all know, 12x12 does not fit through the Cuttlebug. So I had to improvise. Using the their Frills Border embossing plate, I left it open, taped it to my page, and using a sylist, embossed around the WHOLE page by hand! crazy I know....but I LOVE the turn out, so it was well worth the time it took.
