While shopping in a baby boutique recently, my step-daughter seen one of these for sale for 14.99. She fell in love with it. I was like....I could make one of those. Which got her all excited thinking I really was going to...LOL!
The challenge this week over at The Paper Variety is to create a project using pink, black and or white. So this was the perfect project to make. I am soooo glad I found time to play along this week!
I cut the K using Choppin Script font (free on web), and cut 1/4 and 1/2 inch circles using the Cricut and SCAL. I also punched a border from the vinyl.
I only have a couple bucks invested. I picked up the black frame at the Dollar Tree...yep...for a buck! A couple years ago, I went to a local sign making shop and asked if they had some scraps of vinyl they would sell me, they GAVE me several colors, one being pink...so freebie! And the ribbon, just a few cents for what I used off the roll.
This will hang in my granddaughter Kalista's nursery. She will be arriving in just a couple of weeks.

Beautiful Theresa! Don't you just love the feeling when you see something in a store and think "I can make that"! Thanks for playing along with our challenge :)
Love it!! Great project!! Thanks for joining us this month at SSPT!!
Great job! Isn't this the reason (or one of the reasons) for buying the Cricut? We can re-create anything we see (for a much lower cost!)
Thanks for playing along with our first challenge!!!!!
love the colors so cute.
