Charmed

This week at The Cuttlebug Spot, the prompt is to use a charm on your project. I love charms, but never remember to use them on my projects. I was glad to see Nilda had chose them for this week. I've decided to make a card this week.

I cut the background from the Elegant Cake cartridge using Core'dinations cardstock. I LOVE this cardstock! I used a dark eggplant color for the shawdow base and whitewash with lime green for the top cut. Of course, I HAD to sand both. I love the look!

I made the flowering vine. I really like making these because I can coordinate them with any of my color themes. These ones are much easier and faster than the coffee filter ones. I attached the charm to the flowers with a bow.

Beautiful card Theresa. The flowers are gorgeous too. I already added that cartridge to my list because of you. I'm going to have to move it up a bit....lol. I love the splash of green that the border adds. Great job.
