Wishblade

I had been dreaming of getting a Wishblade, but the funds were just not in my budget. Then one day in my email inbox, there was a message from KerrvilleCroppers, my local scrapbooking group. One of my scrap sisters was selling her Wishblade. What a deal!!! Oh please don't let anyone snatch it up before me! I hurried and sent a reply...Me, I WANT it!

I waited to receive a reply. Then it came...I GOT IT!!! However, it was going to be a month before we met up to make the exchange of money for machine. That was a long month, I dreamed of all I was going to do with it.

HA!

For the first 3 days, I threatened to throw it out the window! Now I know I'm not the brightest crayon in the box, however, I'm not the dullest either, and I love a challenge. But I just couldn't figure the thing out. The user manual was USELESS!

So I turned to Yahoo Groups. I found and joined an awesome group, the easywishbladers. In a matter of days, they had me up and running and creating my own files. That was all it took...I am now ADDICTED!

Isn't she just the cutest?!!!!

I just love this picture of her. She always gives me these funny looks...like...who the heck do you think you are...talking to me!

She recently turned 7 months. It won't be long now until she is making mommy and daddy chase her. Can't wait for that! lol

I had fun yesterday, Jakob and I went shopping for her. Little girls have the cutest darn clothes and shoes. I really wanted to buy every cute lil dress on the racks...but mommy told me she needed comfy clothes to crawl around in. And if your a mommy, you know mommies RULE!

Something has to change!

I knew when I started this bloggy thing, that I would probably not keep up on it. However, that is going to change!

Since I'm a very boring person and don't have enough to share about my life, I have decided to focus more on sharing my scrappy crafts.

I am addicted to scrapbooking and paper piecing! I first tried scrapbooking about 5 or 6 years ago. I purchased a lil kit, dug out some photos and did a couple of pages. I stuffed them in a drawer and that was that. Until Dax was born. I decided I was going to give it another try. I picked up a scrapbooking magazine....Wow!...look at what can be done! I hadn't realized there was soooo much stuff available for the craft. There's even scrapbook stores! My first attempts look like CRAP! LOL I was amazed. Creativity was spinning in my head.

Now not quite two years later, my craft room looks like a mini scrapbook store! Will I really use all this stuff? Do I really need to buy more? Like all other paper crafters, we see something cute...not sure how or when we will use it...but gotta have it!

I don't remember what papers I used. The big B is a wooden letter from Michaels that I had decopodged paper on. This is where the addiction began.
