24 Hour Challenge
Over at Scrappin-n-Chattin, I was involved in a 24 hour challenge. We had to list 3 paper collections that we had, and were provided with three sketches. Each member participating chose a collection and a sketch for another participate. The choices we were to use were posted at 9 pm eastern time on Friday and we have to have our layout finished and loaded to the album by 9 pm eastern today, Saturday. I had to work with the White Out collection by We R Memory Keepers and sketch #3. I wasn't sure how I was going to do in this challenge, being that I'm the worlds slowest scrapper LOL however, I have surprised myself. Not only did I finish it, but I did it in under 24 hours!

Finding Time
Finding time to scrap lately has not been easy. With raising a 3 year old, and making a move, there just hasn't been enough hours in a day. However, today I took the time to do a little scrapping. Over on the group scrappin'-n-chattin, there is always some fun activities going on. One is the July 1st SC' 10, which is a contest following 10 themes. The more themes you use, the more chances you have of winning the drawing for some fun goodies. The layout I created today covers three of the themes required for this month.
round-photos should be cut into circles
tiny-use of tiny alphas
black-use an all black background

Get Some Scrap Goodies!
Abby is giving away some Bo Bunny goodies. Yep...that's right, from the luscious Sun Kissed Collection. All you have to do is add a sun to a layout and link it on her blog to qualify. How easy is that???? Head on over to her blog for all the details.
Here is my layout with a sun. I made the sun by rolling up a piece of cardstock and dipping it in paint, for the rays, I folded a piece in accordian form and dipped it into paint as well. The water splash I drew free hand then colored in using a wet marker technique.
