I can't believe it's the last hour and a half of 2009...nor that I am going to be 45 in 2010! Where did the time go? I think I blinked one too many times...lol. Do you realize that in 10 short years we will be living in the time of Buck Rogers...2020??? Seems so sci-fi to me. Although, when I was a kid and watched the Jetson's, I just knew by this time we would be living in highrises and driving air cars...admit...you did too! LOL2009 wasn't that bad of a year, I was surrounded by those who love me, who could ask for more? I don't set New Year's resolutions, cuz we all know...I DON'T stick to them. I'm just thankful for each and every day that I get to spend with my family and friends, and to get to do my scrappy stuff. Ok, I'm done rambling now...LOLHAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

I liked Wendy Kwok's frame technique so much, that I created another frame using it. I made this one for my mom of my 93 year old granny. I just love how it turned out! I made those roses myself (patting myself on the back...lol) After the holidays, I will do a step by step on how to make them.

I was so inspired by Wendy Knok's project she made for Webster Pages 12 Days of Christmas, a frame made with cardboard and wet crumpled paper.I knew I had to make one. Of course, hers is using the Webster Pages products, and since I only have a couple pieces of their paper, I had to adapt it to what I had. But I still think it turned out beautifully! To check out Wendy's, visit her blog, she has done a step by step tutorial for the project. Here is my take.

This is my take on the tag sketch from Sketches 4 All. The requirements were that you had to use bling and ribbon or lace. I went and invaded my moms craft room since I was staying with her for a long weekend and didn't bring any scrappy stuff to work on. The tag is made from a card she had received, then I just took scraps of things she had lying around. I really like how it turned out.

One of my fellow scrappers has started a new Sketch Site. If you like to use sketches, go check it out. It's called Sketches 4 All. She is giving away some great Bo Bunny products to one lucky person who uses the sketch and uploads it in the gallery. Here is the sketch for December. I'm going to get started on my take for a chance at the Bo Bunny products...love Bo Bunny! Oh yeah...and to support my fellow scrappers new site! LOL
