Use It Up!
I actually got to use this layout for 2 challenges, On Memory Scrappers and Scrap Around The Clocks Sketch Challenge group. Here is the sketch that was offered on SATC
Color Challenge
And here is my layout using those bright beautiful colors.
I just love this picture! It looks as if my granddaughter Josslyn and her daddy Jakob are sharing secrets, while uncle Rick tries listening in.

Here It Is!
For the masking, I used my moms Cricut Expressions machine (cuz I only have the baby one) and cut a large scrolly shape, laid it on some light pink cardstock and used white ink around the edges, then followed with a darker pink ink for shading. I then used a fine tip memory marker and made dashes around the whole design. I also used the Cricut for the lettering and leaves. I love making leaves! I usually cut them in at least two different colors and do some shading on them with a water painting technique I do using markers. Then I run them through the Cuttlebug with embossing folders, and finish up buy wrapping them around a marker to curl the edges a bit.
