Tweet Card

This week over at The Cuttlebug Spots blog, the challenge is all about babies. The design team has made some awesome cards for inspiration, be sure to stop by and check them out.

I am also using this card for the challenge over at Jitter Buggin Challenge. I am a new follower of this blog, and let me tell you...it looks like they have some fantastic challenges and even more fantastic prizes! For this one, I followed their sketch using a square card and the use of a Cricut "B" or "Bee". I used the "B" from the Stone Script cartridge in the word "Baby"

Dream

August has been a busy month for me, as it usually is for everyone. I have been falling behind on completing projects. I have only created 2 of the 10 layout challenges for the month at Scrappin-n-Chattin. I thought I would take a few minutes and share one, so y'all don't think I've forgotten about you....lol.

One of this months challenges is to use the word dream in the title of a layout.

Here is what I came up with.

The layout was also based on this months sketch from Scrappin-n-Chattin by the awesomely talented Abby.

Snowman Card

The time has come for me to start the EDCC (every day card challenge) at S-n-C. With August being a busy month, we got to choose whether we wanted to do 15 days or 30 days. If you picked 15 days, you also got to choose on which day you would like to begin. This worked great for me since my kids had already planned on coming for a visit the first week of August. Today is actually my 4th day, but I have been busy with the blog hop stuff so this is the first day I have gotten around to sharing.

I also made this card based on this weeks sketch over at 2 Sketches 4 You. I love the snowman, I made him up and pieced him together. I used a circle punch for his head, the hat came from the Create A Critter Cricut cartridge (caterpiller accessory), I hand drew the scarf, nose, and holly. The snowflakes are from a punch, I added a touch of Stickles for some sparkle. I think he turned out so darn cute.

A New Month

Well, it is that time again. A new month of challenges over at Scrappin-n-Chattin. I decided to start with the one that I felt was going to be the most challenging, that way I would have all month to complete it. The challenge is mosaic. We have to make a full layout of mosaic, covering the WHOLE page! and let me tell you...it was definitly a challenge for me! With my vision problem, and all the little squares, it made me dizzy. Of course trying to figure out a layout for all those tiles was a challenge in itself! They are a little crooked, but it is done!

I used pictures of my granddaughter Josslyn watering her plants. She is such a lil gardener! I think all in all it turned out ok.
