I have been doing 4th of July cards for the military. So many of them over seas do not get any mail, so this is my way of saying thanks for all they do. I thought I would share a couple of my creations with you.





I used tag cards to make these.
I really like how the ribbon looks
wrapped around the star with a
star charm hanging from it.

This one is a spinner card. As you move the card, the star spins up and down the grid. This is the first one I have ever made. I think it turned out pretty good.

So Saturday was National Scrapbook Day and I played ALL day at an online live crop with my yahoo group Memory Scrappers. Jenn, the groups owner, planned a fun day of games and challenges. And I won!!! actually, I won 2 gift baskets (each valued at $50.) and a small surprise gift...what a lucky day!!!! Here is what I accomplished Saturday.

The monkey song! lol you know....10 lil monkeys jumping on the bed...one fell off and bumped his head...LOL For those who know us...know that we can't go any where without Monk. Mom & Dad Layout

I couldn't sleep last night due to taking a late nap yesterday evening. So I was up until 2:30 this morning working on this layout. I used sketch #17 from
52 sketches 52weeks. It was for a single page, but I converted it to two pages to fit my needs.

Tag Swap

In one of my yahoo groups, Memory Scrappers we have been doing a monthly tag swap. Mays theme is bling...now I'm not a blingy person, so it took me two attempts to get something that I liked.

I thought I would share the final one with you. What do you think? I think it turned out pretty cool. It is hard to tell in the picture, but the wings are orange and yellow. I used Stickles, I love they way they glitter. Come check out this FUN group, there is always something going on and Jenn loves to challenge us!
